Ship Product
Transition the projects from research mode to shrink-wrapped products. In working with the technical staff and the marketing team, emphasized difference between program and product.
Marketing
Assisted embryonic marketing effort in their quest to obtain shelf space. Served as main point of technical contact.
Management
Supervised technical staff of 14 developers, writers, and support staff.
Operations
Instituted formal program testing, release control and source control.
Documentation
Built a custom desktop publishing system that produced industry-leading documentation for Coherent, MWC Compiler, and MWC for the Atari ST
