As manager, formed a team of six technical staff producing SGML editors with formatting based on elements-in-context.

Reorganized the staff, instituted software control procedures, and formalized testing and product quality assurance.

In partnership with IBM, my team produced an OS/2 Presentation Manager version.

Managed a second version of the IBM product, which was completed within budget despite the loss of two key personnel.

Developed a method of externally programming the editor, which was key in two significant large-scale publishing system integration sales.

Developed several prototypes of publishing solutions in Smalltalk, and spearheaded investigations into Object-Oriented Programming and Databases.
